Hi, there!

My name is Peng Li. I hold a Ph.D. degree from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) . I am currently working as a post-doc fellow at the University of Oslo (Norway).

My research focuses on the second language pronunciation, especially the effects of hand gestures in learning L2 phonology. I also investigate L2 speech production with focuses on (a) how Chinese students produce an L2 and (b) how L2 learners produce Chinese.

In Chinese studies, I am interested in the prosody-pragmatic interface and lexical exchange between China and Japan.
